Beyoncé Knowles and Jay Z Get Mobbed By Fans at Tidal Headquarters After Attending Friend's Wedding

EOnline.com:
Who run the world? Beyoncé and Jay Z, obviously!

If you thoughts fans right here in the United States were devoted, you should probably take a good look at what hundreds of admirers did this week in Norway.

As the couple left Tidal headquarters in Oslo Tuesday morning after a meeting, fans immediately ran into the streets in hopes that they could catch a glimpse of the "Crazy in Love" singer and her main man.

Based on Instagram photos and videos taken on the ground, Beyoncé was quite surprised to see the amount of fans waiting outside as she tried to make her way towards the appropriate vehicle. As to how the car left without incident, there must have been some halos watching over the scene.

The Internet Just Realized Beyonce Knowles Never, Ever Misses a Beat

LATimes.com:
Just when the Internet thought it knew everything there was to know about Beyoncé, another one of her talents has emerged: She is always on beat.

Proud members of the BeyHive (the name for her massive fan base, for those unaware) have long suspected the pop superstar unleashes some form of sorcery anytime she takes to the stage, drops a new music video or engages in everyday behavior such as walking and breathing.

However the latest social media meme has confirmed those suspicions. Crafty fans with an enviable amount of free time over the weekend tested Beyoncé's talents by taking clips of the singer (either concert footage or her own music videos), stripping out the audio and dubbing it with an entirely different song.

No matter the tune, Beyoncé's dance moves were perfectly in sync.

The hashtag “#BeyoncéAlwaysOnBeat” quickly became a viral sensation -- the norm with anything related to the singer. Whether it was gospel, bass-rattling rap, old school R&B or Latin music, her obviously flawless choreography could handle it all.

There were too many to pick a favorite. But here is Bey bouncing perfectly to a Kelis song. And here she is absolutely slaying an old Ciara jam

Her moves can easily handle a Biggie or Missy joint, give new life to the “Tootsie Roll” and handle even the "ratchetest" rap.

The theme song to "Arthur"? No problem. Can she handle "La Chona"? Si. What about an MC Hammer jam? Duh.

The endless mash-ups were nothing short of perfection. But what else do you expect from a singer who's been "struttin' in this game" in stilettos since she was 15?

Hear Drake and Beyonce Knowles Ask 'Can I' on Leaked Song

RollingStone.com:
Drake and Beyonce have teamed up once more on the leaked track "Can I." The seductive, sparse song sees Drake taking the lead with Beyonce repeating "Can I?" and "baby" throughout. Listen to the track (via Okayplayer) below.

OVO artist Sal Houdini handles the hook on the pair's first collaboration since the romantic, introspective "Mine" off Beyonce's self-titled. While "Mine" saw the singer and rapper share vocal responsibilities, Beyonce's contributions here are minimal, functioning more as a sample in the background. Houdini offers a smooth vocal, singing wistful, romantic lyrics like "I've been thinkin' lately what it would be like/Make a fuckin' family, you and I." Drake caps off the song by sing-rapping, "Before I turn the lights out, tell me who the fuck you wanna be."

Beyonce Knowles Criticized For 'Wasting' Champagne In New Video

Cosmopolitan.com:
Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj released a music video for their new song "Feeling Myself" earlier this week — you're forgiven if you haven't seen it yet, because it's exclusively on TIDAL (womp, womp). There's a fun little hot tub party scene towards the end of the video, and in a photo outtake released Tuesday, Bey's pouring a bottle of champagne into the tub — maybe it's as good to bathe in bubbly as it is (allegedly) to bathe in red wine, or something? Or perhaps, given her expression, someone peed in the tub and she's looking to sterilize it, fast.

Specifically, the drink in question is Armand de Brignac Champagne, a bubbly brand popular with the A-list. Otherwise known as the "Ace of Spades," Armand de Brignac bottles retail from $300 to the five, even six figures — it's not clear how much the specific bottle(s) featured in the video cost, but an angry Twitter mob and its pitchforks have settled on a $10,000 to $20,000 range. Yikes:

As it happens though, Bey's husband Jay Z owns the company behind Armand de Brignac, so the bottles here are almost certainly freebies sent to the boss (not to mention a solid inter-video advertising plug). So it's not necessarily a representation of glib monetary excess — at least any more than your average music video these days — but it is still a waste of good champagne and that is a real shame. I mean, I needed to buy some Prosecco for a friend's graduation party the other day and I could only afford a screw-top bottle...

Beyonce Knowles Posts Pictures From Humanitarian Trip to Haiti on Instagram

ABCNews.com:
Beyonce was in Haiti recently to check out some of the progress made since the 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck the country five years ago.

Haiti U.N. mission spokeswoman Sophie Boutaud de la Combe told The Associated Press Saturday that the pop queen was able to "meet with some of the people who were affected by" the devastating earthquake that claimed as many as 300,000 lives.

The "Flawless" singer was accompanied by Valerie Amos, the United Nations' humanitarian affairs chief and emergency relief coordinator.

Though the dates of the trip were not disclosed, on Sunday the 20-time Grammy winner posted photos from her visit on social media, alongside the caption "Haiti humanitarian mission" and hashtag "#Beygood."

The black-and-white and color photographs show the singer wearing a t-shirt emblazoned with the name of her charity, Bey Good, while meeting with doctors and patients at a hospital, touring communities and passing out coloring books to children.

Hillary Clinton Beyonce Knowles Endorsement: Presidential Candidate Courts All The “Single Ladies”

GossipCop.com:
Hillary Clinton promoted an endorsement from Beyonce on Friday, tweeting “Say you’ll Bey on Team #Hillary2016, too.” The superstar appeared earlier this week at a campaign fundraiser organized by L.A. Reid for the Democratic presidential contender, where the singer was photographed mingling with guests (see below).  The event reportedly raised $1.1. million for Clinton’s war chest.

The tweet, sent by Clinton’s campaign on her official account, highlighted a Marie Claire headline that read, “Beyonce Just Publicly Showed her Support For Hillary Clinton’s Presidential Campaign.” Using social media to point out Beyonce’s support could be a sly attempt to reach out to so-called “Beyonce voters,” a voting group originally coined last year by Jesse Watters on Fox News in a nod to the singer’s hit song “Single Ladies.”

While the commentator originally meant the term in a pejorative sense, saying “Beyonce voters” were “single ladies” who voted primarily based on issues like birth control “because they’re not depending on their husbands,” the term was recently re-appropriated in a viral video by Elizabeth Plank of Mic, who vowed to take back the term as “a representation of women as a powerful force in voting, particularly young women, who are the fastest growing demographic.” Single women make up a quarter of the voting population nationally, and will be an important target voting group in the 2016 presidential election.

Of course, Clinton may also be trying to appeal to Beyonce’s far-reaching fan base, which some say was well used by President Obama. What do you think of Clinton trying to appeal to the “single ladies” demographic?

Solange Knowles Addresses Ferguson and Baltimore in New Song

EW.com:
Solange Knowles premiered her latest song, “Rise,” Thursday night at a Los Angeles stop of Bessie’s 81 Theatre Tour. The track was inspired by the unrest in Baltimore and Ferguson, Missouri, following the deaths of young black men in police custody.

Beyoncé’s younger sister isn’t the only artist to turn the turmoil in Baltimore and Ferguson into powerful lyrics. Prince wrote “Baltimore” about the protests and chaos that erupted in Maryland as a result of 25-year-old Freddie Gray’s April 19 death, one week after his arrest for possession of what police believed to be an illegal switchblade. He debuted the track, which also mentions Michael Brown and Eric Garner, at his Rally 4 Peace concert last weekend.

There is no word yet whether “Rise” will appear on Knowles’ next album. HBO’s Bessie, a biopic of blues singer Bessie Smith, premieres Saturday at 8 p.m.

Beyoncé Knowles Owns a Dragon Egg from ‘Game of Thrones’

PageSix.com:
From one Khaleesi to another.

In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, actress Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen on“Game of Thrones,” let it slip that Beyoncé owns one of her character’s prized dragon eggs.

“Apparently Jay Z bought one for Beyoncé, or something,” the 28-year-old actress and cover girl revealed. “I don’t know.”

Clarke attempted to “blag” one for herself but failed.

“They are really, really, really expensive and they are really f—king heavy and serious work of art,” she said.

It’s also no secret that Beyoncé is a “Game of Thrones” fan.

In a 2012 interview with People, the “Partition” singer said her perfect Sunday included a glass of red wine and “watching ‘Game of Thrones.’”

Hov and Bey also took the opportunity to meet with Gray's family, taking a few photos with them that showed up online today. It's not clear whether the pictures actually took place at the concert, or elsewhere, but either way, they're worth a look.

Tina Knowles Lawson Writes Sweet Open Letter to ''Daughters'' Beyoncé, Solange, Kelly Rowland

EOnline.com:
Tina Knowles Lawson is surrounded by strong, beautiful women.

The famous mother and businesswoman, who recently wed Richard Lawson on a luxurious yacht, penned an open letter to a few of the amazing ladies in her life—Beyoncé, Solange, Kelly Rowland and her niece Angie—for Time's "Letters From Mom" section.

"I gave birth to two of you, but I have four incredible daughters. Writing this brought to mind all the ways you guys have been such a blessing to me," Tina writes.

"When I'm feeling sad or not-so-cute or maybe a little sorry for myself, and you all include me in your group chat and tell me how hot I still look or how cool I am. Maybe you send me a crazy YouTube video. What actually works best is a cute photo of my grandchildren.

"I remember slumber parties after my divorce, when we watched old movies and ate a lot of ice cream. I felt so loved and supported. The roles were reversed, and it was ME who needed nurturing."

She continues to state, "You are all strong, beautiful, intelligent and smart businesswomen. You are so much more than that. You are all kind, generous and you treat people well," before explaining specific attributes of each woman that she admires the most.

For Queen B, it's her kind heart. "I wish people could see how you are when you're not in front of the camera or on the stage. How compassionate and kind you are to people, how you look them right in the eye when you speak to them," Lawson writes, ending with, "Yes, you are a huge star, but you have somehow managed to stay grounded and humble in the wake of all your success."

When it came to Solange, it was her rebellious and fiery personality. "Whether in your music, fashion or your life, you truly are your own incredible, unapologetic person! As tough as you are, you will drop everything to take care of someone you love."

Tina mentions that Rowland began living with the Knowles when she was only 11 years old, and expresses that she's "a true survivor. You never give up. Your discipline and drive always inspires me."

Beyoncé Knowles Proves She’s The Bootylicious Belle Of The Ball At 2015 Met Gala

PopSugar.com:
By now we're all well aware that Beyoncé is full of surprises, but Queen Bey took things to an entirely new level when she showed up to the Met Gala in NYC on Monday well after the reporters and photographers had begun leaving the red carpet. She shared a photo of herself on Instagram with the unassuming caption, "Met Gala 2015," before posting more shots to her personal blog — this particular snap was the most liked photo of the evening! Beyoncé wore a sheer, bejeweled Givenchy dress with a high ponytail, and she looked to be posing in a backstage area of the Met. She later hit the red carpet with Jay Z and looked fierce as ever while posing for photographers (who likely had to run back to their positions after initially packing up to leave).

Before she made her arrival, her sister, Solange, posed for photos in a dramatic Giles minidress, and Rihanna shut down the red carpet in a stunning yellow creation from Chinese couturier Guo Pei. It was Kim Kardashian who may have gotten the most attention for her look, however, when she showed up in a white feathered Roberto Cavalli frock that looked eerily similar to the Givenchy gown that Beyoncé wore to the event back in 2012. Keep reading for more photos from Beyoncé's sneaky Met Gala arrival.

Beyoncé Knowles Looking to Launch Three New Singers

BET.com:
Beyoncé is readying a new generation of girls to run the world. The pop music icon is signing three teen singers to her Parkwood Entertainment label with multi-year contracts worth millions, Page Six reports.

Two of the girls are sisters, Chloe and Halle Bailey, who live in North Hollywood, Calif., and the third is Sophie Beem, a 16-year-old who hails from New York's Upper East Side.

Chloe, 17, and 15-year-old Halle “have been singing, dancing and acting together since they were toddlers,” father Douglas Bailey said in court papers. The Bailey sisters have written hundreds of songs and appeared in movies — including Meet the Browns, Last Holiday and Let It Shine — though they are best known for their cover of Bey's single "Pretty Hurts," which went viral with 10 million views.
The talented trio will work with Beyoncé, “who the girls worship and who will, personally, be actively involved in managing” their careers, according to court documents, as well as her team at Parkwood, the management and media company she founded in 2008.

According to the terms of the contract, which have to be approved by a New York judge since the girls are minors, the Bailey sisters will receive at least $60,000 and advances that could total almost $1 million if they make at least six albums with Parkwood.
The company, however, will take a different track with Beem, a top 40 finalist on The X Factor who is already signed, but who is not yet “ready to begin recording music.”

“Parkwood Music believes that Sophie’s music will be best showcased with a band," the court papers state.
