Beyonce Knowles Covers Vogue's September Issue

USmagazine.com:
Werq! The cover for Vogue's biggest issue of the year, the September issue, was revealed on Thursday, Aug. 13, and it features none other than international superstar Beyonce.

The image, shot by legendary fashion photographer and Vogue's in-house shutterbug, Mario Testino, shows Beyonce in a body-hugging lavender lace dress embellished with floral appliqués.

The singer swings a sparkly purple blazer over one shoulder and rests her hand on another chair as she stares down the lens with her usual ferocity. She also sports a tousled wet hairstyle — perhaps as an ode to her "Drunk in Love" music video.

"Just B," Vogue's cover line reads. "Beyonce and the Art of Global Domination." It's unclear exactly what Beyonce is currently promoting as there are no known big immediate projects in the works. (However, the singer's last studio album dropped unexpectedly in late 2013.)

Ms. Knowles “creatively directed and co-designed” the set, which features a mix of lyrics, gun, and beehive-inspired imagery. The 57-piece pack costs $28—but can you really put a price on wearing a metallic “flawless” designed by Queen Bey herself?

When applied properly, with a damp cloth, the tattoos will last four to six days, Mashable reports. So if you wear just one at a time, you’ll be looking flawless for months.

Beyoncé Knowles Just Dropped $312,000 on High Heels

People.com:
What have you been saving up for? An exotic vacation? New car? New house?A Beyoncé just took the sum of all those options and went on a mega shopping spree. The singer dropped $312,000 on a single pair of heels. Okay, so she is the fifth highest paid female celeb, so to her this is probably chump change, but if you’re currently pinching pennies to afford your own pair, here’s the scoop.

This ankle strap sandal (better known as the Princess Constellation or as the brand calls them, ‘possibly the eighth wonder of the world’) is completely diamond-encrusted — with 1,310 sparkles to be exact and features blue butterfly accents across the toe and ankle strap. Borgezie calls the pair one of its “finest creations,” having a massive diamond weight of 65.50 karats and is available in platinum or 18-karat gold.

According to a Page Six interview with House of Borgezie owner Chris Shellis, having Beyoncé in of one his designs is “the ultimate … If you want someone to model your creations, you can’t get any better than Beyoncé.”

Shellis also said he was contacted by the singer months ago about the expensive shoe, and that she’d be wearing them in an upcoming music video. In addition to sparkly shoes, she also will reportedly be wearing an $85,000 gold belt by the brand in the video as well.

Michelle Williams Is The Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Of Destiny’s Child

VH1.com:

If you own a computer, you’re probably aware of the website PoorMichelle.com. In a nutshell, some shady SOBs decided to illustrate how Michelle Williams got the short end of the Destiny’s Child stick during the band’s entire run. When Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland got to wear pants, Michelle had to wear shorts. When they could show skin, Michelle had to cover the eff up. And, in this touching meme, when K & B were delicious smoothies, poor M was a salad banished to the background.

Tragic. Michelle’s status as the third-tier DC member got us thinking about other metaphors to describe the singer. Poor Michelle asserted she is the dry lettuce among juicy fruit, but what other food metaphors exist? The possibilities are endless. And then it hit us: Michelle Williams is the oatmeal raisin cookie of Destiny’s Child.

Hear us out, y’all. Oatmeal raisin cookies are delicious treats in their own rights. However, when matched up against a chocolate chip or peanut butter cookie, how many of you would opt for oatmeal raisin? Not many. In fact, we’re 86 percent certain that if we polled the world and asked them to choose between the three aforementioned cookies, oatmeal would come dead last. Unfortunately, the same goes for Michelle in Destiny’s Child.

Now, oatmeal raisin cookies aren’t all bad. They’re dependable and (typically) never-changing. You always know what you’re going to get with an oatmeal raisin cookie. And Michelle is the same way: sturdy, reliable, and unwavering. She may not be the most exciting of the three, but there’s something about her sameness that’s surprisingly comforting.

And it’s not just Michelle Williams. Plenty of beloved bands have their respective oatmeal raisin cookies. They’re perfectly fine when no other members are available, but—sadly—still the last choice. Old Faithful, tbh.

Beyoncé Knowles Biographer Claims To Have The Tea On SolangeGate

MadameNoire.com:
I consider myself to be a pretty nosy person, but I have a list of questions that I have settled on never knowing the answers to. That list includes the nitty-gritty details of that elevator fight that went down between Solange and Jay Z last year. However, New York Times Best-Selling author J. Randy Taraborrelli claims to have the tea on that infamous showdown, which he intends to spill in his new unauthorized biography, Becoming Beyoncé.

Last fall, we briefly mentioned Taraborrelli’s book, which he says is “based on exhaustive research” that includes “exclusive interviews with the people in the superstar’s life who have been pivotal to her personal and professional development.” Among those pivotal players who contributed to Taraborrelli’s book is former Destiny’s Child manager Brian Moore, who dished on DC’s early days in an exclusive interview with Madame Noire earlier this year.

Grand Central Publishing boasts that the biography will highlight many of the “firsts” in Bey’s career while also delving into her personal life. Provided below are just a few of the questions Taraborelli and GCP publishers believe that the book will answer.

Beyoncé’s 1st boyfriend of 10 years and what happened to him.
How many boyfriends she really had.
Why Jay Z & Beyoncé’s story is indeed a love story through and through – one that has never really been told.
How did Rihanna come between Beyoncé and Jay Z?
Beyoncé’s relationship with her father before and after she fired him and why she fired him.
Why she really created Sasha Fierce.
What really happened in the elevator between Jay Z and Beyoncé’s sister Solange?
Becoming Beyoncé is slated to hit shelves October 27, 2015.

Beyonce Knowles' Husband Jay-Z's Company Roc Nation Sports Sued for $10 Million

NYPost.com:
A Bronx-based boxing promoter is suing Jay Z’s Roc Nation Sports for trying to lure a world champion middleweight away from his contract, only to cancel a $750,000 bout and dump the fighter.
Star Boxing says in its $10 million Manhattan Supreme Court suit that Roc Nation was in talks to sign Demetrius Andrade as its first fighter last September.
Roc Nation promised to pay Star $2 million to buy out Andrade’s exclusive contract — and also pledged to pay the former Olympian $550,000 to cancel a fight against Jermell Charlo in December 2014 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, court papers say.
The bout would have aired on Showtime.
Roc Nation told Andrade he could make more than the $550,000 he had been offered by Star Boxing with another fight they had set up for HBO, the suit says.
