Tina Knowles and Richard Lawson Tie the Knot

BET.com:
Another member of the Knowles family seems to be tying the knot! Just months after her daughter Solange Knowles wed director Alan Ferguson in New Orleans, Tina Knowles is getting hitched on a yacht in California.

According to TMZ, the entire Knowles clan, including Beyoncé and her husband Jay Z, boarded a luxury yacht in Newport Beach, California dressed in their best whites. Bey even adorned her hair with a halo of flowers. The gossip site reports that Tina, who finalized her divorce from Mathew Knowles in 2011, will wed actor Richard Lawson, 67, aboard the boat.
In true Carter-Knowles fashion, details have been kept strictly under wraps, but we believe congratulations are in order for the matriarch!

LeToya Luckett Boards NBC's 'Love Is a Four Letter Word'

THR.com:
NBC's Love Is a Four Letter Word has completed its casting shake-up.

The network has tapped former Destiny's Child member LeToya Luckett to co-star in the drama pilot, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

From TV writer/playwright Diana Son, Love Is a Four Letter Word explores what happens when three diverse couples take on issues including race, sexuality and gender roles — putting modern marriage to the test.

Luckett will play the role of Tandi, a happily married woman and mother, who is experiencing difficulties fulfilling her dream of having a second child. Luckett assumed the role after former lead Meta Golding exited, and Cynthia McWilliams (Real Husbands of Hollywood, who had formerly been cast as Tandi) took over the starring role of Julie, an attorney formerly married to Nick (Rockmond Dunbar) and the mother of his two children.

Colin Donnell (Arrow) co-stars as Tandi's husband Sean and Nick's friend. Brian Tee, Nadine Velazquez, Monet Mazur, Lauryn Hardy, Alex Henderson and Iyanna Arrigo round out the cast.

Michelle Williams on Girl Talk With Beyonce Knowles and Kelly Rowland, and Which Pop Reunion She Wants to See

ETOnline.com:
Don't call it a "reunion!" When former Destiny's Child members Beyonce and Kelly Rowland joined Michelle Williams on stage at the Stellar Gospel Music Awards, fans (understandably) freaked out.

"It was so amazing, when the word got out, the love that people still have for us as a group," Williams gushed in an interview with ETonline, but she's quick to clarify why the fans shouldn't be calling the performance a "Destiny's Child Reunion."

"Since we have not been together as a group for 10 or 11 years, we always said that we would get together and do things as individual artists on each other’s' projects, but people always lump it together and call it a Destiny's Child reunion," she said. "I understand why! But we keep saying, 'No, no no! It's not a group song!'"

The girls got together to add a little harmony to a live rendition of Williams' song "Say Yes," which was nominated for a Stellar Award. Beyonce and Kelly also appeared in the music video for the song last year.
Destiny's Child did come together, in an official reunion fashion, during the Super Bowl halftime show in 2013, where Michelle and Kelly joined headliner Beyonce on stage for a medley of the group's past hits including "Bootylicious" and "Survivor."

"We've hopped on things for years, off and on, with each other, but the Super Bowl was cool because it reminded us of putting together a tour or something like that," Michelle said. "It was those moments where we were like, ‘You know what? We still look good and we still sound great together!’"

Solange Knowles’s Business Partner Stabbed 10 Times in Fight Over Another Woman

Nola.com:
Solange Knowles' friend and artistic partner Armina Mussa is in critical condition after getting stabbed 10 times in New Orleans' St. Roch area on Wednesday evening (April 8), court records show. Police have arrested a suspect.

Arronesia Christophe, 26, was booked on charges of attempted second-degree murder after police say she stabbed 24-year-old Mussa outside a home in the 2200 block of N. Derbigny Street.

Mussa is the project director for Knowles' artistic and creative brand Saint Heron and a co-owner of the French Quarter boutique, Exodus Goods. Knowles -- sister of pop singer Beyoncé -- attended Christophe's first appearance at Orleans Parish Criminal Court on Thursday afternoon, courthouse sources told NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune.

According to records filed at Orleans Parish Criminal District Court, Christophe was arrested at the location of the stabbing about 7:03 p.m. Wednesday by New Orleans Police Officer Dominique Dejernette.

Records show Christophe told Dejernette that she had been attacked by Mussa and was acting in self-defense when she stabbed the woman.

Christophe claimed that she had arrived at a high school friend's home about 6:45 p.m. when Mussa, who Christophe said was her friend's ex-girlfriend, came out of the house and began yelling at her to leave, the documents show. Records show Mussa lives at the Derbigny Street home.

Christophe reportedly said, "We're just friends, why do I have to leave?" Records show Christophe said she then grabbed a small folding knife from the center console of her car and told Mussa to "get back," and to "please back away," but claimed Mussa continued to yell at her.

Mussa then began punching Christophe, the arrested woman told police. Christophe said she was being pulled by her hair to the ground  when she began swinging her knife at Mussa, who she claims continued to punch her.

"(Christophe) stated she did not think she had stabbed the victim due to the harder thrown punches that she received from the victim," Dejernette wrote in her report.

Christophe said she finally stopped swinging the knife when Mussa stepped back and said, "you stabbed me," records show. After police were called, Christophe stayed on the scene and remained on the phone with a 911 dispatcher until the officers arrived, the record says.

Beyoncé Knowles And Jay Z Are Adorably Interrupted During Anniversary Celebration In Hawaii

HuffingtonPost.com:
Aloha, Queen B!

Beyoncé, appropriately donning a crown of tropical flowers, and Jay Z were spotted looking happy as ever while celebrating their seventh wedding anniversary at a resort on Hawaii's Big Island on Tuesday.

James Brennan, co-founder of Suja Juice and fellow vacationer, snapped an Instagram photo of the couple while they were talking with his 9-year-old daughter and her friend.

Brennan told The Huffington Post that his daughter is preparing to sing a solo in her school's upcoming talent show and wanted to ask Beyoncé herself for some advice.

Her reply? Stay focused and don't get nervous. There's no need to be, she said.

Easy for you to say, Bey.

Tour Rumors Surround the Artists Formerly Known as Destiny’s Child

TheRoot.com:
Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams recently reunited to perform at the Stellar Awards, but they weren’t appearing as Destiny’s Child. Williams, who has launched a successful gospel career since the 2006 split, was up for three awards for her song “Say Yes,” which originally appeared on her 2014 album Journey to Freedom.

After the surprise performance, rumors are now circulating about a possible tour. There’s just one caveat: They can’t tour using their old group name.

“Although Destiny’s Child is made up of the three ladies, Beyoncé’s father and former manager Mathew Knowles owns one-fourth of the group as well. Anytime they do anything under the name Destiny’s Child, he has involvement in it and money from it,” an insider told the Daily Mail.

“At best they maybe could offer him a flat rate or one-time settlement to buy out his portion of the group, but otherwise we may never get a Destiny’s Child reunion because none of them want him to benefit financially,” the source said.

One after another, the former members of Destiny’s Child dropped Knowles as their manager. Williams, Rowland and Beyoncé severed ties with their embattled manager amid troubles including lawsuits against him, his admitted infidelity and his out-of-wedlock children.
So if the three decide to embark on a tour—which would probably turn into a cash cow—they’re doing everything to make sure Knowles doesn’t profit from their endeavors, if reports are correct.
