Beyonce Leads Pack with Eight VMA Nominations

Beyonce took the lead for the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards after receiving eight nominations, including Video of the Year. The singer’s “Drunk in Love” will square off against Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy,” Sia’s “Chandelier,”  Miley Cyrus’s “Wrecking Ball,” and Pharrell Williams’ “Happy.” 

Eminem and Azalea both nip at the heels of ‘Yonce with seven nominations. The other nominees for the VMAs include Jay Z, Katy Perry, Avicii, Pitbull and Lorde. 

The VMAs will air on August 24.
