Destiny’s Child to Reunite at Stellar Gospel Music Awards
PageSix.com:
Destiny’s Child is reuniting for a surprise performance at an awards show.
We’re told Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland will make an appearance at the Stellar Gospel Music Awards in Las Vegas at the Orleans Arena on Saturday, where Michelle Williams is up for several awards.
The girl-power trio is set to open the awards ceremony with a performance, said a source, and that has sparked whispers from insiders about a reunion tour.
But a rep for Beyoncé said there “is no truth to the rumor of a Destiny’s Child reunion tour”.
The girl group last performed together for Beyoncé’s 2013 Super Bowl halftime show.
The show, co-hosted by Rickey Smiley, airs Easter Sunday on TV One.

LeToya Luckett Goes Public With Producer Boyfriend Joseph Macklin
LoveBScott.com:
After two years of quietly dating music producer Joseph Macklin, LeToya Luckett finally confirmed that the music producer is her boyfriend. She opened up to ABC Radio about why she waited so long to be open about the man in her life.On Waiting Two Years to Reveal She Was Taken:“I wanted to make sure that I built a foundation before just putting it out there. You know what I mean? I wanted to make sure that this is something real, that this is something that’s true and honest and not just to have a picture to post on Instagram. I think now its one of those things of, OK, this is something real. It’s honest. It’s not perfect. It’s two people that truly, truly, truly love each other but are friends.”Why She’s Still Hesitant to Be Open About Relationship:“I’m still even very careful when I do decide to share those moments. And you do get anxiety because there is always the ‘what if’ and…you know how you might go about doing things if things go wrong, but then you don’t know if somebody else is going to act a fool. It’s hard. You can’t think about that. You can’t always dwell on the negative or you’ll never let the positive in.”
Why She Thinks Blogs Criticized Her for Being Private:“[I’d be] logging onto blogs and they were like,’Yo, she never talks about her personal life, what’s wrong with her?’ And it was kind of like, ‘Why does there have to be something wrong with me for me to want to just step back and really find out what it is that I truly want and take my time with that?’ I don’t like rushing into stuff and that’s why I’m not in a huge rush to just throw something out there, because that’s my heart.”

Kelly Rowland Talks About Her Son Titan's Unique Name, Talks Playdates With North West and Blue Ivy
EOnline.com:
Wondering how Kelly Rowland came to name her firstborn son Titan? Well, the real story may shock you!
During a sit-down with E! News, the former Destiny's Child singer gushed that she's "very happy and Titan is just my world."
Surprisingly, Rowland revealed that she isn't the brainchild behind her baby's moniker, but her hubby Tim Weatherspoon is!
"Tim said that's what he wanted the name to be. I actually told him to name the baby," she told us at the spring kickoff for Claritin.
"I gave him the complete responsibility because I did everything else! I pushed the baby, I carried the baby, I'm dressing the baby, I'm changing the baby. Everything else! So yeah, I'm like, 'You name the baby!'"
And when asked what she would've done if Tim came up with a name that she wasn't terribly fond of, Rowland admitted she had a backup plan.
"I would have told him to change it until we got it right," she said while laughing.
The new mama also shared how she was initially hesitant about moving out of the (decades-long) friend zone with her now husband.
"It just happened. I didn't want to rush anything. I took everything day-to-day. He's my best friend in the whole world."

Giuseppe Zanotti Announces Collaboration With Beyoncé Knowles
MadameNoire.com:
If you can’t count on anything else, you can count on the fact that Queen Bey is always up to something. The sassy superstar is just weeks away from the release of her latest project. Giuseppe Zanotti recently
announced that he and Beyoncé have been collaborating on a special shoe design.
“I’m doing a shoe with Beyoncé right now,” Zanotti told Forbes.
According to the designer, Bey was very clear about her likes and dislikes during the creative process.
“Beyoncé has very clear ideas – she knows exactly what she wants,” Zanotti went on to say. “The thing which she then also has over other celebrities, is that she has an amazing voice. She’s incredibly talented and she’s an amazing dancer – she’s complete. Few are like Beyoncé.”
To be clear, the two aren’t collaborating on an actual shoe line, although it seems that this could be a possibility in the future. They’re just releasing one shoe for now, which has been described as an “ultra thick stiletto platform.”

When Beyonce Knowles Fans Attack: Inside The Beyhive
HuffPo.com:
By now, this should be news to no one: You do not mess with Beyonce.
Kid Rock learned this firsthand when he sparked the fury of her fanatical fans after he dissed the "Drunk In Love" songstress during an interview with Rolling Stone, prompting her loyal followers to attack by commenting on every photo he's ever posted to Instagram with a swarm of bee emojis. The bees represent the Beyhive, devoted Beyonce lovers who were probably big fans of The Beygency.
The phenomenon of zealous fans who find an identity around high-profile entertainers is nothing new. There are the Little Monsters, the Beliebers, the Barbies, the Directioners; decades before any of those, Deadheads made a hobby out of their obsession with drugs and Jerry Garcia. But the Beyhive may be the most vociferous fandom of all.
What makes Beyonce fans -- and fans in general -- so rabidly defensive of the object of their affection? And do their acts of digital attack cross the line? To find out, HuffPost Live's Caitlyn Becker took a deep dive into the nature of fandom on Tuesday.

This is the first full photo we’re seeing of little Titan. Kelly and Tim welcomed their little bundle back in November.
“We are thrilled to announce that today we are the proud parents of our first son,” the couple said in a joint statement last November. “We are blessed to report everyone is healthy and happy!”
On the cover, the 4-month-old smiles lovingly at his dad, who he looks just like, as his mommy holds him.
Kelly and Tim tied the knot during an intimate ceremony last spring.

Beyoncé Knowles Sends Support to Backup Singer Tiffany Monique Battling Cancer
Wetpaint.com:
Not only does Beyoncé have endless support for her family and fans, but also for those who help her be fabulous while performing onstage. Just months after mourning the loss of photographer friend Yosra El-Essawy to cancer, Queen Bey is sending love and well wishes to one of her backup singers, Tiffany Monique, in a heartfelt message on her personal website.
“We love you, Tiffany,” the 33-year-old singer wrote alongside a gorgeous photo of her friend. “Wishing you a speedy recovery. Love, Beyoncé.”
Beyoncé’s post comes just a few days after Tiffany — who has been backing the “Drunk in Love” singer since 2007 — updated everyone on her illness. On top of filling everyone in on how treatments were going, she praised her man, Kevin Kwiz Ryan, for staying by her side through the struggle.
“Fevers, a-fib, no food or water since last Tuesday, quite a bit of pain and a lot of fatigue today. I'm finally ‘comfortable’ so I'm gonna get some sleep while the going is good. Here is the view I get to drift off with,” Tiffany wrote on Facebook while getting treatment at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. “Anyone who knows me already knows how much I love this man. Didn't know if loving him any more than I already did was even possible. It is... #fckcancer #godsgotthis #bravethestorm.”
Besides working with Beyoncé, Tiffany has also worked with the likes of the divalicious Mariah Carey, Anita Baker, and American Idol’s first-ever winner, Kelly Clarkson.

UPI.com:
Solange Knowles and Kelly Rowland recently reunited at Paris Fashion Week.
The 28-year-old singer and 34-year-old recording artist attended the Balmain runway show Wednesday. Knowles and Rowland have known each other for years through the former's older sister, Beyonce Knowles, and her involvement with Destiny's Child.

Kandi Burruss: Destiny’s Child Didn’t Like ‘Bug A Boo’ on First Listen
Yahoo.com:
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss promised herself that she would focus more on music this year. Although she is mostly recognized today for her reality TV persona, she has an impressive music discography, both as a recording artist and songwriter, having co-written TLC’s “No Scrubs,” Pink’s debut “There You Go,” and Destiny’s Child’s “Bills, Bills, Bills” and “Bug A Boo.”Kandi says that Beyoncé’s former R&B girl group initially did not like “Bug A Boo,” a dis to annoying male admirers. “When we first played the track ‘Bug A Boo’ to Destiny’s Child, I remember, they were kinda looking like, ‘Eh, I don’t know about this,’” Kandi tells Yahoo Music. “If you can remember what the track is like, it was like really fast. At the time people weren’t really singing over those types of tracks. You’d look at it as something they’d rap over.”Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss promised herself that she would focus more on music this year. At the time people weren’t really singing over those types of tracks. You’d look at it as something they’d rap over.”In particular, Kandi remembers Beyoncé calling an impromptu executive huddle with the other members, Kelly Rowland, LeToya Luckett, and LaTavia Roberson. “I remember Beyoncé was telling the rest of the girls, ‘Y’all, if we really don’t like this, maybe we should let him know.’ Because [the producer] She’sphere had stepped out the room,” she says.Quick on her feet, Kandi interjected in attempt to salvage the song. “I was like, ‘Well, if you don’t mind I could kinda like sing you the idea I was thinking, before you [decide],’” Kandi recalls. “They were like, ‘OK.’ At the time I think I only had like a verse and the hook kinda together. It wasn’t all the way together. It was just like a little bit of where I thought it could go. And they were like, ‘OK.’ And then we finished it together.”Kandi, of course, is glad she followed her instincts. The song from Destiny’s Child’s sophomore album, The Writing’s on the Wall, reached the top 40. “So, it’s funny because had I not spoken up and said, ‘Hey,’ then that song would never exist,” she says.
